You have already ,learnt factors and factorization in the previous. Factorization or factoring is the process by which the factors of a composite numbers are determined and the number is written as product of these factor. Just like composite number , algebraic expression also have factors.

FACTORS: When an algebraic can be written as the product of to are more expression, then each of these expression is called a factor of the given expression.

Example: 15xy(x+2)(y-2)

=3*5*x*y*(x+2)*(y-4)
